coryDON Cinema, a Texas-based cinema chain, has just released the trailer for the film, ‘The Great American Movie.’
The film follows a group of film-loving kids who meet in Los Angeles in the late ’60s, with the intention of making a movie about how they’re going to be remembered and how Hollywood would see them.
After all, the movie’s title is based on a quote from legendary director and actor Richard Burton: “The greatest American movie of all time is The Great American Novel.”
‘The Greatest American Movie,’ released on Feb. 14, 2018, is a 90-minute film which stars Ben Affleck as the main character, Jason Todd, and Josh Brolin as the son.
In the trailer, we see the film’s main characters’ childhoods from the ’60’s through to today, as they experience their first big break.
“There’s an emphasis on family and community, as well as a lot of good stories and good characters,” co-founder and president Jason Todd told TalkSport.
“We want to share stories that we all relate to, so that we’re able to understand how our lives can be affected by this film.”
In addition to Todd, the film also features Michael Douglas as a former student of the movie and Kate Hudson as a new teacher of the film.
The film’s cast includes Tom Hanks as the lead, a character named Lenny (Ben Affleck), and Matt Damon as the other supporting character.
Todd said the goal of the production is to make sure the movie is well received.
“The whole concept is to bring a film to people who maybe haven’t seen it before,” Todd said.
They’re going for the nostalgia factor.” “
People are going to remember it for a long time.
They’re going for the nostalgia factor.”
‘Greatest American Novel’ was first released in 1965, and was based on the novel by Edgar Allan Poe.
The novel tells the story of a group who gather at a summer camp in Los Santos to see a movie that’s being screened by a local film critic.
While the film does not follow the events of the book, it does include a few additional scenes from the novel.
“It’s a great way to introduce a group to the world of cinema,” Todd added.
“If you haven’t read the book in any form, you can still get a glimpse of what it’s like.”
The film was nominated for an Oscar for best picture.
